The Kick-off of the BOARD GRAVITAS program will bring together participants, mentors and special guests to build momentum and gain buy-in and ownership among participants.

The full-day, in-person Kick-Off will include:

TOUCHPOINT2: CORPORATE GOVERNANCE & RISK

In this touchpoint, participants will gain a deeper understanding of fiduciary duties, governance challenges and board effectiveness.

Our biases impact daily decision-making and this is also applicable in the Boardroom. Raising awareness unconscious bias within ourselves and our environment will lead to more inclusive conversations and decisions. These biases also impact how we show up in the Boardroom. This touchpoint explores your Board Gravitas and the unconscious biases impacting you.

TOUCHPOINT 8: ​BOARD TRENDS

The role of the board is continuously changing. In particular in Asia, the speed at which companies, industries and whole economies are changing requires an agile and well-informed Board to lead companies from the present into the future.

TOUCHPOINT 9: BOARD SIMULATION

Learning by doing. Participants will come together as a Board to tackle a realistic and current challenge. The Board will need to analyse the situation and come up with a strategy to overcome the challenge, all the while navigating a complex corporate governance, financial and board dynamics environment.

MODULE 10: CLOSING & REFLECTION

Participants will come together with Mentors, Facilitators and special guests to reflect on their learnings and growth as they carve out their onward leadership and board aspirations.
